Permits: Right-of-Way

The Public Works Department provides permitting for right-of-ways (sidewalks and streets).

  • Engineering & Construction
    • Curb Cut Permit: Required for driveways or parking lot entrances.
    • Sidewalk Permit: Required for repairs, replacement or new construction.
    • Street and/or Sidewalk Opening Permit: Required for street and sidewalk openings required for utility installation (water sewer, gas, electricity, cable and phone).
    • Temporary Street/Sidewalk Obstruction or Closing Permit Perhaps you have plans to paint the front of your structure or placed a storage pod in the street or will be moving and require parking for a large truck. This permit is required to ensure the public safety when blocking or diverting vehicular or pedestrian traffic in a public street, alley, sidewalk or assembly area.
