NEW WATER RATES (Usage and Turn On/Turn Off Fees)
If your water has been turned off, do not pay your bill online. You must call the Finance Office Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at 410-263-7953 to make a payment. Weekends, holidays and "after" hours, you may call the Water Plant at 410-224-2140; the fee for turning water on during "regular" hours is $10; the fee for turning water on "after" hours is $75.00.
PLEASE NOTE - EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2010:
The City of Annapolis "After-hour" turn-on policy for water has
changed.
NEW WATER TURN-ON POLICY:
- Requests received after 3:00 PM weekdays will be dispatched to our staff at
4:30 PM.
- Requests received after 4:30 PM weekdays will be turned on the next business
day.
- Requests received on weekends will be dispatched to our "on call" staff at 4:00 PM; this enables them to do all "turn ons" together
- Requests after 4:00 PM on weekends will be turned on the next business day
after 4:00.
Once again,
the charge for all after hour
requests is $75.00. 
A charge of ten dollars shall be billed each time a customer requests the
City to turn on, turn off, or reconnect any water supply system and that service
is performed during normal business hours. If the service is performed
outside normal business hours, the charge shall be seventy-five dollars.
