June 16th, Labor Day, for ALL Annapolis Transit Routes including County Connectors C-40 to Edgewater, AACC.

* Bring your bike, our buses are equipped with Bike racks!

Applying for a pass:

  1. The Youth Pass Application** signed by a parent or guardian is required.
  2. Bring application and $25 in Cash, Check, or Money Order made payable to the City of Annapolis, Annapolis Department of Transportation at 308 Chinquapin Round Road
  3. We'll take a photo and provide an ID.
  4. Age requirement 12-17

 STUDENTS MAY RIDE C-40 TO & FROM EDGEWATER AS LISTED BELOW.

THESE ROUTES WILL ONLY GO DIRECTLY TO SOUTH RIVER HIGH SCHOOL UPON REQUEST.

C-40 TO SOUTH RIVER COLONY

If you live in or near Broadneck:

* Take C-40 from the Community College at 7:20, arriving at 8 a.m. at Spa Road, and continuing toward Edgewater, arriving at South River Colony at 8:30.

If you live in or near Annapolis:

* Take an Annapolis Transit bus toward Spa Rd. and transfer to C-40 at 6 a.m. or 8 a.m. arriving at South River Colony at 6:30 or 8:30.

C-40 may be convenient for those students living in or near Edgewater or in South County, that want to get to Annapolis.

C-40 FROM SOUTH RIVER COLONY

To return toward Annapolis/Broadneck:

Take the C-40 at either 10:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. from K-Mart/South River Colony Shopping Center


Student Discounts

Students ages 12-17 can ride Annapolis Transit for half-off base fare anytime during non-school hours (includes weekends).

It's easy as...

Showing the driver your school-issued ID* card. All Student ID Cards (high school and age-eligible middle schoolers) must be for the current school year.

If a student does not have their school-issued ID card they must...

  1. Complete the Student Discount Sticker Application
  2. Apply in person at the Department of Transportation located at 308 Chinquapin Round Road and have an alternative photo ID created
* School-issued IDs are valid for half-off base fare September (anytime after Labor Day) through June 15th and can be used on any Annapolis Transit route.

 

Examples of discount

Base fare: $1.00

With Student Discount: $ .50 cents

For county connectors: $1.00 per zone

Regular fare Annapolis to Arundel Mills Mall $4.00

With Student Discount $2.00

ATTENTION COLLEGE STUDENTS

As of December 1, 2008 college IDs will not be accepted for the Student Discount program.
