A bike loan program that offers free daily bike "rentals".

Where can I get one of these bikes?

At the Harbor Master's office at City Dock, seven days a week,  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. June through October 1.

Can anyone sign out a bike?

Anyone 18 or older, showing a photo ID and credit card.

Is it really free?

Yes. But you must show a photo ID, credit card and sign a waiver.

How long can I keep the bike?

Free BikeBikes must be returned by 8:00 p.m. unless otherwise arranged with the Harbormaster office.

What if I can't get the bike back by 8:00 p.m. or what if I have a problem with it?

In case of an emergency, lock the bike where you are and call 410-263-7973 with the address or street and a landmark to identify where the bike was left. Individuals will be charged a fee for any bike that is not returned/if the program is not notified of its whereabouts.

All Free Wheelin' customers may ride any Annapolis Transit bus for free.  All buses are equipped with bike racks.
