Mayor Welcomes Former President Jimmy Carter and Wife Rosalynn to Annapolis

2010 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project

The 27th annual Carter Work Project kicked off Monday, October 4 to coincide with the United Nation’s World Habitat Day.

The Carters worked with volunteers in Washington, D.C. on Monday, October 4th  before coming to Annapolis on Tuesday, October 5th to meet the hundreds of volunteers that will build 10 Homes on Clay and Pleasant Streets with the move-in date of March, 2011.

Former President Carter and his wife Rosalynn are off to Baltimore, Minneapolis and St. Paul, and Birmingham, Alabama  as part of their United States Habitat Tour.
