US Small Business Administration

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

This interim guidance is based on what is currently known about the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will update this interim guidance as needed and as additional information becomes available.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration

OSHA's website provides information for workers and employers about the evolving coronavirus outbreak. The information includes links to interim guidance and other resources for preventing exposures to, and infection with COVID-19.

US Department of Labor Guidance

The US Department of Labor has developed some guidelines for how companies can prepare their workplace for COVID-19.

State of Maryland Resources 

Office of Governor Larry Hogan

The Governor's Office will continue to update the public throughout this rapidly evolving public health event. Live updates are streamed to the governor’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages. 

Maryland Department of Commerce

A new COVID-19 Information for Businesses page on Maryland Business Express portal features several resources available for business throughout the state, including guidelines for employers, fair labor standards, information on insurance claims, opportunities for financial assistance, tax questions, and more.

Maryland Department of Health

Continue to regularly visit the Maryland Department of Health for the latest information on coronavirus and the state’s response to the outbreak.

Comptroller of Maryland

Most Maryland tax payments are extended due to prolonged economic distress caused by the coronavirus pandemic, including business-related tax filing deadlines. A June 1 extension applies to certain business returns with due dates during the months of March, April and May 2020 for businesses filing sales and use, withholding, admissions & amusement, alcohol, tobacco, and motor fuel taxes, as well as tire recycling fee and bay restoration fee returns. Business taxpayers who file and pay by June 1 will receive an automatic waiver of interest and penalties.Taxpayers requiring assistance should contact Taxpayer Services at 410-260-7980 or via email at taxhelp@marylandtaxes.gov.

Businesses who paid their Maryland Sales & Use Taxes for March early may request a refund of their payment by emailing taxpayerrelief@marylandtaxes.gov or by calling 410-260-4020.

Maryland Emergency Management Agency 

The Virtual Business Operations Center (VBOC) has been activated in support of Maryland Department of Health response to COVID-19.

Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation 

Our partner organization, Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation, is working to compile information about businesses and organizations affected or impacted by COVID-19 through an online survey. This information will be provided to county, state, and federal resource partners. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
