Vaccine distribution is prioritized based on considerations for the ethical allocation of vaccines by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, an agency within the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The Maryland Department of Health has provided additional guidance and detail on the prioritization schedule for Maryland. Anne Arundel County Department of Health is following these guidelines to stay consistent with other jurisdictions around the state.
