Stanton Community Center
The Department remains vigilant in keeping Stanton clean. This includes disinfecting the gym, meeting rooms, common areas and restrooms. While at Stanton, we ask that you remain 6’ apart from others to maintain physical distancing. Additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility. Please call 410-295-5519 before coming to be sure someone is at the front desk area to greet you.
Upon entrance to Stanton, all persons must comply with the following:
- wear a face covering or mask
- receive a temperature check
- complete a brief questionnaire
There is no open play, pick up or organized play for indoor basketball at the Stanton Community Center at this time. The Dental Clinic remains closed.
Rentals at this time are assigned only to government agencies, non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations and other types of organizational meetings. Please note that Stanton is open at 50% capacity and therefore meeting attendance must be reduced to abide by that allowance. We are not renting rooms and/or the facility for birthday, holiday, anniversary, family and/or graduation celebrations.
The Stanton Community Center (SCC) has provided its community with a variety of services over the years along with a rich historical background displayed in portraits of Annapolis’ diverse community. SCC features offices, a multi-purpose gymnasium, a commercial kitchen, fitness area, historic classroom, media center with computers, and two conference/meeting rooms. As a community resource for children and adults, SCC provides recreational and cultural enrichment opportunities, health, therapeutic, and counseling services.
Rentals -- Residents and non-profit organizations based in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County interested in renting space at SCC should apply two weeks before the event date. For details, contact Chris Beck or Debbie Odum. Please review the rental policies ahead of time.
Computer Lab -- City residents can access free of charge. Volunteers are needed in the computer lab. If you are interested, please call 410.295.5519 or e-mail Chris Beck.

Individual, group and family counseling daily from 10 am - 6 pm. After 6 pm, by appointment only. Provides services for crisis intervention, tutoring, substance abuse and mental health assessment.

Offering services for homeless and others who need additional assistance, help children who are at risk, and those who have a substance abuse problem. Monday - Friday, 10 am - 3 pm.

The inaugural "Art On Clay -- Past and Future" fundraiser was held on Thursday, April 30, 2015. The event raised $7,000 that will directly support the youth programs and camps for the children of the Stanton Community Center.
