Community Development Block Grant Public Hearing
The City of Annapolis Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) will conduct a public hearing at its regular meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 160 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. The purpose of the hearing is to inform the public of the City's CDBG program progress and to receive testimony on CDBG project proposals submitted for local FY 2020 CDBG funds. Copies of project proposals are available for review during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., in he Department of Planning and Zoning, 145 Gorman Street 3rd floor, Annapolis, MD 21401.

2019 Annual Reports/Personal Property Tax Returns Now Available
The 2019 Annual Reports and/or Personal Property Tax Returns are now available from the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation. All domestic and foreign business entities must file an Annual Report and/or Personal Property Tax Return by April 15th in order to remain in good standing status. The quickest and easiest way to submit these filings is through the department’s award-winning Maryland Business Express site. In order to maintain good standing status, all business entities formed, qualified, or registered to do business in Maryland must file an Annual Report every year.
Creativity Grant Applications Now Open
The purpose of the Creativity Grant Program is to strengthen the vitality and sustainability of artists and small organizations to maintain a strong and stable arts infrastructure in the State of Maryland. The Creativity Grant also provides opportunities to serve the growing needs of relevant arts projects and collaborations within Maryland communities. Applicants may only submit one application per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Please read the guidelines thoroughly prior to completing the application to confirm eligibility and timeline.

WABA Offers Relief for Furloughed Workers and Locals in Need
