    Falls are not only painful, debilitating and life altering, for the victim as well as family and friends, they are also costly and unfortunately can be deadly. Don't wait until a fall happens to you or a loved one. Join us for this very important four-part seminar series! Session 1: Safety and Your Environment (January 29th) a. Home environment-most falls happen in/around your own home b. Familiar doesn't always mean “safe” c. Unfamiliar places and new environments d. The elements e. People/crowds, children, public and sporting events f. Practicing environmental mindfulness Guest speaker - member of Commission on Aging City of Annapolis These are free seminars for ALL ages and ALL abilities. Led by Darcy Scaringe, CPA, CIFT and guest speakers at each session. Additional information will come from NCOA.org, the National Council on Aging Fall Prevention.
